Head of Engagement Delivery

At the NSPCC, we believe every childhood is worth fighting for. With over 100 years of experience, and the collective strength of our staff, volunteers, supporters, and partners, we're working to end child abuse and neglect for good.
We encourage everyone across the organisation to get involved, feel confident in championing our cause, and help us grow the support we need to protect children and give them the futures they deserve.
If you're motivated by purpose and want to contribute to creating a safer, brighter world for every child, why not apply for our role as a Head of Engagement Delivery?

What is the purpose of the Head of Engagement Delivery?

Reporting to the Director of Public Engagement, this role leads the Engagement Delivery function within the Public Engagement team, ensuring the seamless, high-quality execution of integrated campaigns that drive income, engagement, and long-term supporter value.

It plays a key role in delivering the NSPCC's strategy by building and managing cross-functional delivery squads, embedding agile ways of working, and championing a multi-channel, insight-led approach to campaign delivery.

You'll contribute by:

  • Leading the operational delivery of integrated, multi-channel campaigns.
  • Building and overseeing delivery squads to meet campaign objectives.
  • Driving continuous improvement in supporter engagement and income.

What will I be doing as a Head of Engagement Delivery?

You'll lead a team responsible for delivering public engagement and fundraising campaigns that are audience-led, inclusive, and strategically aligned. You'll work collaboratively across teams to ensure campaigns are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard.

  • Build and manage cross-functional delivery squads.
  • Champion agile and iterative ways of working.
  • Ensure campaigns reflect audience insight and supporter experience principles.
  • Oversee scheduling, prioritisation, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor performance, budgets, and risks to maintain delivery momentum.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure high-quality delivery.

What skills do I need to be a Head of Engagement Delivery?

You'll be a strategic and operational leader with experience in delivering large-scale, integrated campaigns. You'll bring strong project management skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary delivery teams in a complex environment.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies and campaign delivery processes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to integrate insight, creative content, and supporter experience into delivery.

Working in the Income Generation team The application process

Safer Recruitment

As an organisation, we are committed to creating and fostering a culture that promotes safeguarding and the welfare of all children and adults at risk. Our safer recruitment practices support this by ensuring that there is a consistent and thorough process of obtaining, collating, analysing and evaluating information from and about candidates to ensure that all persons appointed are suitable to work with our children and adults.

Trauma Informed

At the NSPCC we are on a journey to becoming a trauma-informed organisation for the children, young people and families that we work with, as well as our staff and volunteers. To be trauma-informed is one of the guiding principles that shape and guide our 2021-2031 Strategy. This means understanding the nature of adversity, trauma, and resilience so that we can work towards reducing and preventing further harm and promoting recovery and healing. Coming to work at the NSPCC will provide the opportunity for you to join us in our commitment to becoming a trauma-informed organisation.
