Schools Coordinator
£13,194 with £250 home user allowance  
Remote working (home based)  - Scotland

Home based, but some travel required.

In 2021, the NSPCC announced a new 10+ year strategy to make the biggest impact we can to stop child abuse and neglect. Our Local Services teams are an essential part of how NSPCC's three main strategic goals will be delivered:  

Everyone plays their part to prevent child abuse.  
Every child is safe online.  
Children feel safe, listened to and supported.  

Local Services brings together our work in schools, local campaigning and our direct services across 9 regions and nations. The Scotland Schools Service team plays an integral part of our mission as it's responsible for delivering the schools offer.   

Do you have experience of delivering programmes in an educational or safeguarding setting? 
Have you recent experience of following safeguarding procedures? 
Do you have well-developed stakeholder relationship skills? 
Have you enjoyed working with diverse groups of people?  
Do you have relevant volunteer recruitment, management and supervision experience? 
Have you experience of working towards and meeting set targets/KPIs?  
Would you work well as part of a remote team?

Reporting to the Schools Manager, the Schools Coordinator will: 

co-ordinate the delivery of the Speak out. Stay safe online programme 
promote our secondary school offer  
leading and manage a diverse team of existing volunteers  
work to set targets and KPIs 
be responsible for building and maintaining internal and external relationships 
recruit, train and retain new or existing volunteers providing ongoing development in the classroom or in training 
maximise opportunities and partnership working  
be confident in presenting to stakeholders, such as local authorities and senior school leaders 
represent Local Services and NSPCC Schools Service in the public forum 
be an active contributor to internal projects and workstreams
