What we're looking for
We're looking for enthusiastic and organised people to be a Collection Box Co-ordinator Volunteer in their local community. Around 90 per cent of our income comes from our supporters andwe couldn't continue doing what we do without them. You'll be helping to raise funds in your local community as well as raise awareness of the NSPCC in order to protect more children and prevent abuse.

What you'll do
• Identify suitable locations to place NSPCC Collection Boxes within your local community. 
• Service these boxes (empty on request)
• Count the contents 
• Pay the money into the NSPCC Bank Account.

You will be provided with; a Letter of Authority, a Receipt Book, A Form to log all your collection box locations and Banking Slips to pay into the NSPCC Bank Account.

What you'll get 
We'll support you with guidance, advice and tools to help you in your role and spread the word of the NSPCC. You'll learn more about how you're helping to protect children across the UK, and you'll have the opportunity to grow your skills and inspire others to support us.You will have a direct link to your local Community Fundraising Manager.

Who's right for the role? 
While we think this role is suitable for a whole range of people, we are particularly looking for those with the following qualities and experience:

• Numerate and be able to maintain accurate records
• Good communication and organisational skills 
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Great communication and social skills
• Confident in making fundraising asks
• Ability to transport amounts of coins and store Collection Boxes
• Mode of transport and telephone are essential
