Community Fundraising and Events

Whether you want to organise or support a local event such as a ball, quiz or coffee morning, or clap and cheer runners and riders raising vital funds for the charity, we really will value your contribution to the NSPCC. Your volunteering will help us protect vulnerable children from abuse.

Head of Community and Events

“Our local fundraising is at its best when we enable you to do what you do well and enjoy doing the most. Giving your time, effort, skills or money to help keep children safe has got to be the most rewarding offer available to anyone – your support will save a child’s life.

There is something for everyone – and if you can’t find something you like – we’ll work with you to create something that allows you to take part. Join us – you won’t look back.”

Why join us?

At the NSPCC we recognise the importance of flexibility when it comes to volunteering locally. So whether you want to join the network of individuals and local groups fundraising in communities right across the UK and Channel Islands, or whether you are happier coming along to join us supporting one off events, cheering on runners, we will have a opportunity that suits you the best.

No contribution is too big or too small and each one of our volunteers makes a huge difference for children.

Our teams

Our team is grouped across nine regions covering the UK and Channel Islands. We have 4 Supporter Fundraising Heads who oversee and lead specific regions and nations. Each of the nine regions has its own Supporter Fundraising Manager who leads the local team. Within those teams, we have a variety of fundraising managers who support with income generating and engagement activity required in the area. We also have a centrally based events team supporting all the runs, cycles and challenge events taking place in every part of the UK and Channel Islands.
