Thorough training: All of our volunteers go through a thorough training programme – so you’ll always feel totally prepared to carry out your opportunity brilliantly. You’ll never be put in a position where you’ll feel exposed. And if you’re in a frontline opportunity, directly supporting children and young people, you’ll also be surrounded by experienced colleagues on hand to offer all the support you need.
Our volunteers receive full training and support, so they feel equipped to deal with most situations. We also have volunteering opportunities to suit all sorts of people, skills, experience and time you have to give so even if a Childline position isn’t for you, there are many other opportunities that may suit you better.
Flexible opportunities: We have volunteering opportunities to suit all sorts of people, skills, experience and time you have to give. While we prefer our volunteers to stick to regular time slots in some areas (such as Childline), there are many other volunteering opportunities which can fit around your lifestyle.
The NSPCC couldn't do what it does without volunteers. They sit at the heart of our organisation. It’s our volunteers who ensure that we’re here for children and young people, every day.
