Collection Box Volunteer

Every childhood is worth fighting for. This is our belief. We all share it. And it drives us to get out there and bring in the funds we need to protect children and prevent abuse.

Do you….

  • … have a few hours a month to spare?
  • … enjoy building relationships with your local community?
  • … have a passion for helping children and young people?

If so, you could be exactly who we need to raise vital funds to support the work of NSPCC Cymru, as a collection box volunteer.

Work in your local community to provide collection tins, record and monitor and thank businesses for their support.

What you'll get…

  • A designated point of contact in our community team
  • We will support you with the right information, tools, and training
  • Be part of NSPCC Cymru and our mission to end child cruelty
  • Meet like-minded people and enjoy new experiences
  • Access to the Volunteer Portal with training and learning opportunities
  • Volunteer Newsletter

Around 80% of our income comes from the public and we couldn't do what we do without them. Your role as a fundraising volunteer would help us raise money and awareness of our vital work in supporting communities and protecting children and young people across Wales.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the UK's leading children's charity and work alongside a friendly, passionate and dedicated team. If you share our passion about the impact you can create for children, we'd love to hear from you.

We are currently unable to accept applications from under 18's to this role, please view our other volunteering opportunities or get in touch with the Volunteer Recruitment team on volunteerrecruitment@nspcc.org.uk

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mae pob plentyndod yn werth brwydro drosto. Rydyn ni'n credu hynny'n gryf. Bob un ohonom. Ac mae hynny'n ein hannog ni i fynd allan i gymunedau i godi'r arian sydd ei angen arnom i amddiffyn plant ac atal camdriniaeth.

Ydych chi...

  • … yn gallu sbario ychydig oriau bob mis?
  • … yn mwynhau meithrin perthynas â'ch cymuned leol?
  • … yn frwd dros helpu plant a phobl ifanc?

Os felly, efallai mai chi yw'r union berson sydd ei angen arnom i godi arian hanfodol i gefnogi gwaith NSPCC Cymru, fel gwirfoddolwr blychau casglu.

Cewch weithio yn eich cymuned leol i ddarparu blychau casglu, cofnodi a monitro cyfraniadau, a diolch i fusnesau am eu cefnogaeth.

Beth fyddwch chi'n ei gael…

  • Pwynt cyswllt dynodedig yn ein tîm cymunedol
  • Cefnogaeth gennym ni – gyda'r wybodaeth, yr adnoddau a'r hyfforddiant iawn
  • Bod yn rhan o NSPCC Cymru a'n cenhadaeth i roi terfyn ar greulondeb at blant
  • Cwrdd â phobl o'r un anian a mwynhau profiadau newydd
  • Mynediad i'r Porth Gwirfoddolwyr gyda chyfleoedd hyfforddi a dysgu
  • Cylchlythyr Gwirfoddolwyr

Daw tua 80% o'n hincwm gan y cyhoedd a fydden ni ddim yn gallu gwneud ein gwaith hebddyn nhw. Byddech chi fel gwirfoddolwr codi arian yn ein helpu i godi arian ac i godi ymwybyddiaeth o'n gwaith hollbwysig yn cefnogi cymunedau ac yn amddiffyn plant a phobl ifanc ar hyd a lled Cymru.

Dyma gyfle gwych i ymuno â phrif elusen blant y DU a gweithio ochr yn ochr â thîm cyfeillgar, angerddol ac ymroddedig. Os ydych chi'n rhannu ein hangerdd am yr effaith y gallwch chi ei chael ar blant, byddem wrth ein bodd yn clywed gennych chi.

Ar hyn o bryd, nid ydym yn gallu derbyn ceisiadau gan bobl ifanc o dan 18 oed ar gyfer y rôl hon. Edrychwch ar ein cyfleoedd gwirfoddoli eraill neu cysylltwch â'r tîm Recriwtio Gwirfoddolwyr yn volunteerrecruitment@nspcc.org.uk

Volunteering in the Community Fundraising and Events team The application process

Safer Recruitment

As an organisation, we are committed to creating and fostering a culture that promotes safeguarding and the welfare of all children and adults at risk. Our safer recruitment practices support this by ensuring that there is a consistent and thorough process of obtaining, collating, analysing and evaluating information from and about candidates to ensure that all persons appointed are suitable to work with our children and adults.

Trauma Informed

At the NSPCC we are on a journey to becoming a trauma-informed organisation for the children, young people and families that we work with, as well as our staff and volunteers. To be trauma-informed is one of the guiding principles that shape and guide our 2021-2031 Strategy. This means understanding the nature of adversity, trauma, and resilience so that we can work towards reducing and preventing further harm and promoting recovery and healing. Coming to work at the NSPCC will provide the opportunity for you to join us in our commitment to becoming a trauma-informed organisation.

Volunteer Expenses

We believe that volunteering with the NSPCC shouldn’t leave you out of pocket. We really appreciate your time, and will reimburse expenses in line with our volunteer expenses policy.
