Role: NSPCC Committee Treasurer

Location: Nailsworth and surrounding villages, Gloucestershire

Time commitment: Flexible, as and when events take place. 

 

What we're looking for 

 

Were looking for a Committee Treasurer to coordinate and monitor finances raised through fundraising events. 

 

What you'll do  

 

  • You'll support the Committee Chair in the management of the Committee and account for all money raised by maintaining the bank account and processes, inc. cashless donations. 
  • You'll account for and pay in all money raised through the committee's fundraising and any donations received or collected and provide official receipts  and letters of thanks where appropriate. 
  • Attendance at quarterly committee meetings is recommended but not essential.

Who's right for the role?

Whilst we think this role is suitable for a whole range of people from all walks of life, we are particularly looking for people with the following experience and knowledge;

 

  • A friendly and enthusiastic champion for children.
  • A good communicator who can share ideas and experiences.
  • Ability to work with a wide range of people.
  • Administrative skills.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Willingness to get out and about within the local area.
  • A financial background or experience keeping basic books or accounts would be an advantage.
  • Some basic IT skills.

 

All out-of-pocket expenses will be covered.
