What we are looking for
We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, approachable, and dedicated with strong leadership skills and a great relationship builder. Around 90 per cent of our income comes from our supporters and we couldn't continue doing what we do without them. Our Fundraising Group Leaders play an important part in rallying people to raise vital funds so together we can keep children safe.
What you'll do
The role of Fundraising Group Leader coordinates, with the support of other group members and the Community Fundraising Manager, all fundraising activities carried out by the Group.
You'll plan with the support of other group members and the CFM, the content, agenda, and organisation of Group meetings.
Together with the CFM form strong relationships with potential donors and regular supporters of your Groups Fundraising activity.
The FR Group Leader coordinates activities, assists in recruitment and acts as the main NSPCC volunteer representative for the Group.
What you'll get
We'll support you with great advice, skills, experience, and tools to help you with your leadership role of your Fundraising Group.
You will be working in partnership with your local Community Fundraising Manager, who will provide support and advice along with volunteer members of your fundraising group.
You'll learn more about how you're helping to protect children across the UK, and you'll have the opportunity to grow your skills and inspire others to support us.
While we think this role is suitable for a whole range of people from all walks of life, the following skills are desirable.
