Role title: Fundraising Group Treasurer

 

Time commitment: Flexible – can be done in your own time around other commitments. Recommended 2-4 hours per month but can discuss to suit your needs.

 

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone with a financial background or basic bookkeeping skills.

A familiarity and willingness to use internet banking goes hand in hand with being a Treasurer.

 

What you'll do

Account for paying in all the money raised through the groups fundraising and any donations collected or received.

Provide official receipts for donations received.

Maintain any income record required by the NSPCC

Write cheques and/or transfer funds to pay local suppliers if appropriate.

Transfer income using online banking from a local Bank Account to the main NSPCC Scotland Bank Account

 

What you'll get

We'll support you with training, advice skills and tools to help you with your role.

You'll also have the support of the Group Leader and a network of fundraising volunteers.

You'll also have the support of a dedicated Community Fundraising Manager and a Banking Support Team at head office.

  • Comfortable working on your own initiative
