From our campaigns to our services, we strive to make a difference in everything we do. We work with schools, provide support and advice for families and deliver therapeutic services. We undertake ground-breaking research, campaign for change, and run two free helplines providing support and advice: Childline (for children and young people) and Helpline (for adults seeking advice).
Between 2016 and 2021, we helped make 6.6 million children safer from abuse - but we won’t stop until we stop child abuse and neglect altogether. That’s why we need more people who share our ambition and values to join us.
We’re dedicated to protecting children today to prevent abuse tomorrow. As the only UK children’s charity with statutory powers, we can take action to safeguard children at risk of abuse.
We employ around 1,700 people across eight directorates and rely on the support of about 7,000 volunteers, all based in offices and hubs across the whole of the UK.
Join us and together, we’ll create a place for positive change.
Sir Peter Wanless, CEO NSPCC
