We’re here to end cruelty to children. Nothing else will do.

At NSPCC Cymru/Wales, we believe every childhood is worth fighting for. It's an aspiration which will take time but nothing less will do. This is an exciting opportunity to develop a career in corporate partnerships. You will be supporting the Supporter Fundraising Manager in ensuring the best service for current corporate partners along with securing new partnerships.  You will support the development of creative resources, materials and proposals. You will develop and maintain a charity of the year calendar, deliver events and other administrative tasks. We raise funds to support children who have experienced abuse, help children and parents prevent abuse, and campaign for changes in the law to rid Wales of abuse for good. This income is vitally important and will help us provide services for children, now and in the future.

The NSPCC is looking to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to develop new initiatives, to grow income and to support an existing network of corporate supporters. You will need to be results driven, have excellent communication skills with the natural ability to build rapport. You will have excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

You will have exceptional relationship building skills and enjoy mixing with a wide range of people with an ability to develop and maintain relationships with supporters and staff at a high level. You will have the ability to build a new network of key influencers in Wales to broaden our sources of income from corporate audiences, and you will have a disciplined approach to managing your time and working to deadlines, and be computer literate. You will understand the vital contribution that volunteers, donors and supporters make and the importance of a flexible approach in supporting them and you will have an exuberant passion for our cause.

This is a fast-paced environment so you should be a self-starter, able to work independently and be comfortable with working under pressure.

This post is office based. The role requires regular travel across South Wales and will also require some evening and weekend working. You must be willing to travel to NSPCC offices in other locations across the UK for team meetings, training, and to support fundraising initiatives.

Successful applicants will be invited to interview week commencing Monday 25 January 2021.

If you would like an informal conversation regarding this position please contact Emma Brennan, Supporter Fundraising Manager on 07901 104627 or email emma.brennan@nspcc.org.uk
