What is the role?

The purpose of the Creative Producer (Video) is to work within the Film Team, alongside other creative professionals, overseeing and commissioning video content - you'll be a passionate and experienced video professional - comfortable flexing from creative to production, eager to come up with ideas and shepherd through jobs both big and small.

Film Team sits with Creative - an award-winning, dedicated and friendly in-house team comprising of designers, copywriters, account handlers, film-makers, and senior creatives. We work together as a team, we share ideas and grow off each other, and despite the seriousness of our work, we don't take ourselves too seriously.

You will be working with both in-house creatives and a roster of production companies and agencies, across a hugely diverse spectrum of projects.

Over the last few years the Film Team has worked on: TV commercials, mini-docs following a survivor of abuse, school photoshoots, Childline animations about family struggles, marathon and mass-participation marketing films, organic and paid social, sensitive case study films and interviews with NSPCC practitioners, Facebook-live child-facing broadcasts during lockdown, Pantosaurus' picture book crowd-funding campaigns, fundraising films, corporate pitches and many more.

 

What are we looking for?

See full job spec, but in a nutshell:

  • We're after a creative producer, with mixture of creative and practical skillset.
  • At least 3 years film-making experience, either in-house or freelance, ideally covering sensitive subject matter.
  • Someone as comfortable with budgeting as they are with scripting.
  • Able to take a dry brief and low budget and make purposeful and effective assets
  • Unflappable in the face of change, confident dealing with internal commissioners, suppliers, practitioners, volunteers and children alike.

Where is it based / what's the working arrangement?

  • full time, 35 hrs per week
  • Office Based (London), Hybrid (2 days per fortnight in office) or Home Working; all will be considered.
  • salary range of £30,199 to to £35,529 pa (depending on experience) plus £3,366 pa London Allowance (assuming Hybrid or Office Based)
