Data Processing Officer

Every childhood is worth fighting for. This is our belief. It drives us. And it’s why our National Services team never stop sharing our learning, information, advice and support with everyone who needs it. Join us as a Data Processing Officer, and help us make a contribution that makes a difference.

Every year, hundreds of thousands of people choose to protect children across the UK by supporting the work of the NSPCC.

We are recruiting for Data Processing Officer to work with our colleagues across our Fundraising division, who use and rely upon our supporter databases to develop lasting relationships with NSPCC supporters.

This fixed term contact full time post requires someone to set up, maintain and amend various database processes that manage data across our fundraising systems from a variety of different data sources.

These all need carrying out efficiently, compliantly and flawlessly. You will also be skilled at documenting processes and training to hand over the day to day running of process to other members within the team.

The successful candidate should have demonstrable experience of working with large databases such as Raisers Edge and/or IBM iSeries.

Lastly, you will have acquired CRM/customer database experience and be a credible subject matter expert able to guide colleagues accordingly.

The role sits in our supporter data team who are committed to delivering the best possible service and enabling the best experience to our supporters.  If you have experience in providing high levels of support in a busy environment on a customer/supporter database and are passionate about keeping children and young people safe from abuse this could be the role for you.

For more information on this role please contact Neil Murray – (Neil.Murray@nspcc.org.uk) and Mark van der Vord (mark.vandervord@nspcc.org.uk)

Join us and you’ll become part of a team that cares about the work they do and the people they work with. You’ll discover opportunities to grow, along with challenges and a shared purpose that’ll bring the best out in you. And you’ll get to find your own way to make a difference that means more, and that impacts millions of young lives.
