We're here to end cruelty to children. Nothing else will do!

We believe that we can make a difference for all children by standing up and fighting for their rights, by listening to them, by helping them when they need us and by making them safe. The role has been created to help us deliver against these ambitions

This is an exciting opportunity to develop your carer and gain vital experience within Income Generation support. You will be joining a well-established team based in the Income Generation department, which aims to put our supporters at the heart of everything we do.

The main responsibilities of this role include carrying out and processing administration tasks which relate to banking and thanking supporter's donations. Maintaining supporter records using our CRM database and loading small scale data files, whilst providing first class supporter service to our fundraisers.

Confident, committed and extremely well organised, you will have an eye for detail and a solution focused mind. Equally, you will be someone who can build and sustain strong working relationships through great communication skills and a commitment to teamwork.

Job Purpose

  • To contribute to Income Generation's purpose of maximising income from NSPCC supporters and potential supporters by supporting staff to carry out fundraising activity.
  • To provide a high standard of service to staff, managers, supporters, and members of the public who contact the Supporter Services department.
  • To provide an administrative and information service effectively and efficiently to the Supporter Services department as assigned by the line manager.
  • To provide accurate and timely financial processing to budget holders within Income Generation.

Working in the Income Generation team The application process

As an organisation, we are committed to creating and fostering a culture that promotes safeguarding and the welfare of all children and adults at risk. Our safer recruitment practices support this by ensuring that there is a consistent and thorough process of obtaining, collating, analysing and evaluating information from and about candidates to ensure that all persons appointed are suitable to work with our children and adults.

The most interesting reason for working with the
NSPCC is that the NSPCC highly embraces,
encourages
and promotes diversity and
inclusiveness of staff.
