Every childhood is worth fighting for. This is our belief. We all share it. And it drives our Fundraising team to get out there and bring in the funds we need to protect children and prevent abuse. Join us as a Fundraising Data Analyst, and get more people involved in change that means everything.

About the role

The Data Analyst is a key role in our drive to make evidence based decisions and improve our overall performance as a fundraising directorate.

You will work with teams across the Income Generation Directorate to understand their priorities and business needs. Designing dashboards to support their fundraising activity in two ways; firstly, helping them manage fundraising activity more effectively and secondly, giving them insight to drive best practice and decision making.

The role will also work with our fundraising leadership team to help drive the development and implementation of cross directorate management information, feeding into cross organisational reporting.

About you

We are looking for someone enthusiastic, who has the energy and drive to embed high quality management information in a fundraising directorate relatively new to this approach.

The following experience is required for the role:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar role using Power BI to create dashboards/reports from scratch
  • Experience in ingesting data sources and performing required transformations using Power Query and SQL scripts
  • Experience in building, maintaining and iteratively improving effective data models in Power BI along with DAX formulas to provide efficient, insightful and accurate reporting
  • Deploying, maintaining and troubleshooting deliverables in the Power BI service so users have relevant and secured access to datasets and reports.
  • Demonstrable experience in applying effective numeracy skills in recording, interpreting, analysing and presenting data in clear and accurate formats to meet desired outcomes.
  • Experience of Raiser’s Edge or other databases used in the charity sector would be desirable

Join us and you’ll become part of a team that cares about the work they do and the people they work with. You’ll discover opportunities to grow, along with challenges and a shared purpose that’ll bring the best out in you. And you’ll get to find your own way to make a difference that means more, and that impacts millions of young lives.
