Every childhood is worth fighting for. This is our belief. It drives us, and it's the reason our Services team push themselves to transform the lives of children and families – in person, in Hubs nationwide, and through the knowledge they share.

As we continue to develop our exciting and innovative service offer to meet the needs of children, young people, families and professionals across the North West, we are recruiting an Implementation Support Officer to provide support to and sustain relationships with a range of organisations and key stakeholders to enable them to successfully implement and deliver NSPCC programmes, services and products.

Our aim is to increase understanding of child sexual abuse and neglect and to raise awareness so that abuse can be identified, responded to and ultimately prevented. We will do this by working with and training local partners to build capacity, skills and knowledge to improve outcomes for children, young people and families.

We are looking for a motivated and inspiring person to join our team to help engage partners and increase our reach to make a difference in the lives of more children and young people.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team in developing and building our work across the North West. The successful candidate will work in a hybrid team, working from home or co-working spaces, supporting the delivery and development of services. Our regional Hub is in Liverpool and the successful candidates will be expected to travel throughout the region.

This is a new post and sits within our Local Services Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development of and review of new and existing programmes, services and products to support the delivery of the NSPCC's 10 year strategy.

You will discover opportunities to grow, along with challenges and a shared purpose that will bring the best out in you. You will get to find your own way to make a difference that means more, and that impacts young lives.

In return, we offer a full range of family friendly policies and benefits to help achieve a good work-life balance.  Our people are at the heart of everything we do. It's because of them that we're able to continue our work to protect children and prevent abuse. We work hard to ensure that that they feel happy and supported in their role.

Working in the Services team The application process

Safer Recruitment

As an organisation, we are committed to creating and fostering a culture that promotes safeguarding and the welfare of all children and adults at risk. Our safer recruitment practices support this by ensuring that there is a consistent and thorough process of obtaining, collating, analysing and evaluating information from and about candidates to ensure that all persons appointed are suitable to work with our children and adults.

Trauma Informed

At the NSPCC we are on a journey to becoming a trauma-informed organisation for the children, young people and families that we work with, as well as our staff and volunteers. To be trauma-informed is one of the guiding principles that shape and guide our 2021-2031 Strategy. This means understanding the nature of adversity, trauma, and resilience so that we can work towards reducing and preventing further harm and promoting recovery and healing. Coming to work at the NSPCC will provide the opportunity for you to join us in our commitment to becoming a trauma-informed organisation.
