Hoffech chi roi hwb i'r hyn mae'r NSPCC yn ei gynnig i ysgolion?   

Yn 2021, cyhoeddodd yr NSPCC strategaeth 10 mlynedd newydd i gael yr effaith fwyaf bosibl i roi diwedd ar esgeuluso a cham-drin plant. Mae ein timau Gwasanaethau Lleol yn rhan hanfodol o'r ffordd y bydd tri phrif nod strategol yr NSPCC yn cael eu cyflawni:

  • Bod pawb yn chwarae eu rhan i atal cam-drin plant.
  • Bod pob plentyn yn ddiogel ar-lein.
  • Bod plant yn teimlo'n ddiogel a bod rhywun yn gwrando arnynt ac yn eu cefnogi.

Mae Gwasanaethau Lleol yn dwyn ynghyd ein gwaith mewn ysgolion, ymgyrchoedd lleol, a'n gwasanaethau uniongyrchol ar draws 9 rhanbarth a gwlad. Mae tîm Gwasanaeth Ysgolion Cymru yn rhan annatod o'n cenhadaeth gan ei fod yn gyfrifol am ddarparu'r cynnig i ysgolion. 

  • Oes gennych chi brofiad o ddarparu rhaglenni mewn lleoliad addysgol neu ddiogelu?
  • Oes gennych chi brofiad diweddar o ddilyn gweithdrefnau diogelu?
  • Oes gennych chi sgiliau datblygedig i reoli cysylltiadau â rhanddeiliaid?

Gan adrodd i'r Rheolwr Ysgolion, bydd swydd y Cydlynydd Ysgolion yn cynnwys:

  • bod yr unig bwynt cyswllt ar gyfer pob ysgol gynradd yn yr ardal ddynodedig, gan gynnwys lleoliadau nad ydynt yn rhai prif ffrwd

  • bod yn gyfrifol am oruchwylio'r gwaith o gyflwyno gweithdai dan arweiniad gwirfoddolwyr

Schools Coordinator - South Wales / South West Wales

 

  • Full time, 35 hours per week, permanent
  • £26,388 - £29,986 plus £500 home working allowance per annum
  • Home based, travel required.
  • Must live within South / South West Wales
  • Welsh language skills are desirable for this role.
  • Flexible working considered.
  • Access to and daily use of your own car and home broadband is essential.

In 2021, the NSPCC announced a new 10+ year strategy to make the biggest impact we can to stop child abuse and neglect. Our Local Services teams are an essential part of how NSPCC's three main strategic goals will be delivered:

  • Everyone plays their part to prevent child abuse.
  • Every child is safe online.
  • Children feel safe, listened to and supported.

Local Services brings together our work in schools, local campaigning and our direct services across 9 regions and nations. The Schools Service Cymru/Wales team plays an integral part of our mission as it's responsible for delivering the schools offer. 

  • Do you have experience of delivering programmes in an educational or safeguarding setting?
  • Have you recent experience of following safeguarding procedures?
  • Do you have well-developed stakeholder relationship management skills?
  • Have you enjoyed working with diverse groups of people?
  • Do you have relevant volunteer recruitment, management and supervision experience?
  • Have you experience of working towards and meeting set targets/KPIs?
  • Would you work well as part of a remote team?

Reporting to the Schools Manager, the Schools Coordinator role will:

  • be the single point of contact for all primary schools within the designated area, including non-mainstream settings
  • co-ordinate the delivery of the Speak out. Stay safe online programme
  • be responsible for overseeing the delivery of volunteer led workshops
  • leading and manage a diverse team of existing volunteers
  • work to set targets and KPIs
  • be responsible for building and maintaining internal and external relationships
  • recruit, train and retain new or existing volunteers providing ongoing development
  • maximise opportunities and partnership working
  • be confident in presenting to stakeholders, such as local authorities and senior school leaders
  • represent Local Services and NSPCC Schools Service in the public forum
  • be an active contributor to internal projects and workstreams
