Senior Fundraiser - Messaging And Planning

Every childhood is worth fighting for. This is our belief. We all share it. And it drives our Fundraising team to get out there and bring in the funds we need to protect children and prevent abuse. Join us as a Senior Fundraiser - Messaging and Planning and get more people involved in change that means everything.

The NSPCC has one of the largest direct marketing operations in the UK charitable sector and the Individual Giving department is the largest source of income for the NSPCC. Our supporter base of almost 700k people generated almost £53m in the last financial year.

The general public and our existing supporters are inspired to support the NSPCC by our messaging, which helps us to engage new supporters, deepen the connection with existing supporters and increase lifetime value and income from supporters.

We have already seen the benefits of powerful messaging with very successful campaigns that have raised considerable funds for the organisation. Being more integrated across directorates and taking an audience led approach has led to very successful campaigns for the NSPCC. This role will play a vital part in ensuring that works grows and continues.

The Senior Fundraiser- Messaging and Planning is a new role within Individual Giving that will be critical to the success of fundraising. You will support the Head of Individual Supporters to improve our audience led approach to income generation, in particular improving our planning and development of fundraising messaging.

Working on large scale campaigns you will be responsible for scoping out the messaging requirements for fundraising campaigns and lead on developing messaging that will be used by Individual Giving and with other teams in the Income Generation division

We are looking for a self-starter, who has great communication skills and an analytical mind as you will need to gather requirements from a number of teams in Fundraising, source information from across the organisation and help turn that into brilliant fundraising campaigns

It is essential that you are collaborative in nature as you will work with a number of teams across the NSPCC in order to maximise the effectiveness of our messaging and integrated campaigns

Join us and you’ll become part of a team that cares about the work they do and the people they work with. You’ll discover opportunities to grow, along with challenges and a shared purpose that’ll bring the best out in you. And you’ll get to find your own way to make a difference that means more, and that impacts millions of young lives.

Due to the nature of the role, regular travel to London will be required.
