Senior Fundraiser (Products)

Every childhood is worth fighting for. This is our belief. We all share it. And it drives our Fundraising team to get out there and bring in the funds we need to protect children and prevent abuse. Join us as Senior Fundraiser – Products, and get more people involved in change that means everything.

We’re looking for an experienced, dynamic and enthusiastic Senior Fundraiser (FTC 14 months) to join our Individual Giving Team and lead exciting new product development and project management. We’re an ambitious, high-performing team who are tasked with the exciting job of developing new products for NSPCC and managing our existing product portfolio to achieve our strategic objectives and get the best outcomes for children. Join us at an exciting time to lead the launch of a new product in market, prove commercial viability, and scale.

Reporting to the Fundraising Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading new product development in the Individual Giving team: managing all aspects of product development, management and delivery to market using agile methodology
  • Developing product and marketing strategy with Fundraising Manager and Associate Head and working effectively with key stakeholders across the organisation to deliver the strategy and maximise income for children
  • Managing all aspects of direct marketing campaigns for products: from briefing, set up and fulfilment, to monitoring and reporting of results, income and expenditure, building touch points and marketing strategies to launch product to market, monitoring performance, optimising conversions through channels tactics, creative development and messaging
  • Leading the product management of some of our existing fundraising products including our flagship Christmas Letter from Santa project, Payroll Giving and our Gaming products: Weekly Lottery and Raffles
  • Managing all agencies and suppliers involved in this activity
  • Evaluation, optimisation and reporting of project and campaign activity
  • Budgeting, forecasting and cost management for projects and campaigns.

Ideally, you will have:

  • Solid experience of product development and project management using agile methodologies, especially subscription products
  • Experience of developing business cases and managing strategic direct marketing campaigns for products
  • Excellent organisation, the ability to prioritise and high attention to detail
  • The ability to build positive and effective working relationships across teams, both internally and externally.

This is a fast-paced environment so you should be a self-starter, able to work independently and be comfortable with working under pressure with the ability to “hit the ground running”. You will be a natural relationship builder with exceptional communication skills and have a passion for making a difference to children.

In return, we offer a competitive salary, allowances and benefits, 29 days holiday plus bank holidays and the opportunity to work flexibly for a great cause. This role can be home based with regular travel to our Head Office in London.

The NSPCC recognise the value of diversity. We welcome applications from individuals with diverse backgrounds, including disabled candidates.

Join us and you’ll become part of a team that cares about the work they do and the people they work with. You’ll discover opportunities to grow, along with challenges and a shared purpose that’ll bring the best out in you. And you’ll get to find your own way to make a difference that means more, and that impacts millions of young lives.
