Senior Participation Officer - Service and Design Delivery

Children and Young People’s participation and their meaningful engaging is at the heart of the ethos and values of the NSPCC and Childline, and forms an important part of our organisational strategy.


Our Participation Team delivers work across the organisation, focusing on a number of key priorities:


  • Increasing the participation and engagement of children and young people across the NSPCC
  • Informing Policy and Campaigns
  • Informing Strategy and Governance
  • Informing Service Design, Delivery and Products
  • Measuring the impact of our work


The Senior Participation Officer will aid in developing and delivering an organisation-wide Participation Plan which helps us fulfil our commitment to putting children first and helps us achieve our mission, coordinating and aiding delivery of a range of activities with children and young people across the NSPCC enabling them to play an active part in helping us achieve our mission to prevent child abuse.


This role will have a specific focus on developing and delivering Participation in NSPCC Services through our regional operating model.


We are looking for enthusiastic candidates, with experience of Participation and working with children and young people, who can shape and deliver our strategy through a creative, passionate and flexible approach. As this post works with children and young people the post holder must be willing to travel regularly and occasionally work unsocial hours, including some weekends and overnight commitments.
