As a member of the leadership team, you will also be responsible for the development of the service to ensure it remains relevant to the needs and service demands from young people.

In this role you will be responsible for the management of staff and volunteer skills and knowledge and will quality assure performance across Childline so that the existing and forecast demand from children and young people is met within agreed performance standards. You will take a senior lead in the development and delivery of the NSPCC’s strategy and plans; specifically, to identify and implement practice requirements to deliver Childline within agreed performance indicators.

We are looking for a Service Head who has proven ability and experience of the investigation, assessment and management of complex child protection cases, including a sound understanding and experience of the issues relating to the safeguarding of children and young people.
