Social Media Coordinator

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and knowledgeable freelance Social Media Co-ordinator with experience of working in communications and digital (social media, journalism or PR); excellent verbal, written and planning skills; and a solid knowledge of established social networks, trends and developments. We’re looking for a creative self-starter with strong storytelling skills and an understanding of what makes engaging content and how to use data and insight to make it effective and appropriate for the people we need to reach. We’re also looking for someone who is able to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

As Social Media Co-ordinator you will work closely with colleagues in the Social Media team and Comms Directorate to co-ordinate a thoughtful and engaging social media calendar for the NSPCC’s social media channels. The preferred candidate will have experience in a brand-owned social media role and a good understanding of audience-led content strategies on social media.
