Are you looking for a role within an organisation where the work you do makes a real difference to people's lives? Are you looking to develop your fundraising experience with a sector-leading team?

We are looking for a talented Corporate Fundraising Manager to join the Northern Ireland team to help us deliver a portfolio of exciting corporate partnerships and to identify and secure new business, while supporting the work of the wider organisation.

This role is based in the Northern Ireland Community Fundraising team.  A team with a track record of working with some of the largest local and most dynamic businesses and who have delivered strategic partnerships, commercial activity, and charity of the year programmes.

We are incredibly passionate and committed to invest in and help individuals to achieve their career goals, as we place that at the very heart of our team ethos. Previous members of the team have gone on to senior leadership positions within the NSPCC and led teams at other well-known charities.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • well-developed business acumen and experience of generating and securing new business within a corporate environment.
  • experience and success in developing relationships in order to achieve results within a corporate fundraising, sales, business development or marketing environment.
  • experience of delivering strategic plans and budget management.

Are you?

  • committed to maximising income generation and have a proven track record of delivery against high targets
  • organised, ambitious, and ready for a challenge

Ideally, but not essential, the candidate will live within 1 hour travel time to Belfast as the role requires frequent face to face meetings with supporters and local community fundraising team.

Whilst the role is primarily home based, there is an expectation for the successful candidate to travel freely across Northern Ireland (travel expensed), plus occasionally travel to other parts of the UK for team meetings, training and to support the wider Regional Corporate Partnerships team.  The successful candidate may wish to work from their local NSPCC hub from time to time or may have individual circumstances that can be discussed at interview.

This is a real opportunity to make a difference to children's lives, but we also like to reward people by offering a great working environment, being part of a friendly and supportive team, and offering stimulating and challenging work, with plenty of development opportunities.  We offer a variety of rewards and benefits including generous annual leave, employee benefits and assistance programme, pension and life assurance schemes.

Join us at this exciting time and you'll become part of an expanding team that cares about the work they do and the people they work with. You'll discover opportunities to grow, along with challenges and a shared purpose that'll bring the best out in you. And you'll get to find your own way to make a difference that means more, and that impacts millions of young lives. We want to ensure roles are accessible and inclusive of everyone, which is why the NSPCC offers a high degree of flexibility around ways of working.

Working in the Income Generation team The application process

Safer Recruitment

As an organisation, we are committed to creating and fostering a culture that promotes safeguarding and the welfare of all children and adults at risk. Our safer recruitment practices support this by ensuring that there is a consistent and thorough process of obtaining, collating, analysing and evaluating information from and about candidates to ensure that all persons appointed are suitable to work with our children and adults.

Trauma Informed

At the NSPCC we are on a journey to becoming a trauma-informed organisation for the children, young people and families that we work with, as well as our staff and volunteers. To be trauma-informed is one of the guiding principles that shape and guide our 2021-2031 Strategy. This means understanding the nature of adversity, trauma, and resilience so that we can work towards reducing and preventing further harm and promoting recovery and healing. Coming to work at the NSPCC will provide the opportunity for you to join us in our commitment to becoming a trauma-informed organisation.
