My NSPCC story

In terms of the culture, I joined during the pandemic and I worked from home, but I've always felt like a welcomed, valued member of the team from day one, whether that's working from home or in the office. And there's always formal and informal opportunities for the team to collaborate and learn from one another. And we always do that with the aim in mind that we're going to support children and families across the UK. So it feels really meaningful. One of the best things about it is the access to transformational opportunities to support children and families across the UK. Whether it's working on research projects or projects to implement brand new services, it's fantastic to be able to do those things with the team and knowing that you're having a real positive impact.

“There's always formal and informal opportunities for the team to collaborate and learn from one another.”

We support huge numbers of children and families across the UK, but it's also the difference we make to individuals. So whether that's recovering from domestic abuse, recovering from sexual abuse, but also the impact we have on partners to enable them to support children. We're having a much wider and stronger system response as well as impacting individuals.
